Final Fantasy VII remake was just announced at E3! My life is complete.
No, seriously. :D
Now, to obtain a PS4…
So, um, it’s been five years since my last update. Life has a funny way of happening, doesn’t it?
Since then, I’ve been unemployed, found new employment, and spent two great years there before going on maternity leave. Two and a half years ago I became a stay-at-home mommy, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. This is who I’m meant to be.
In other news, someday soonish I’ll be doing a major update on deviantArt. I took just under 2,500 photos while in Italy a few years ago, and they’re all sitting on my drive waiting to be picked through, polished up, and posted.
So, um, yeah. I’m back. C: Anyone still around? Let me know!
I’m making a Dissidia ringtone for my iPhone. There’s a selection in the opening theme from 1:36 to 2:16 that’s just...incredible. If you call and it takes me a while to answer, it’s because I am listening to as much of it as possible before the voicemail kicks in. XD
I had a sort of epiphany over the holidays. I’m seriously contemplating going back to school, as soon as I can afford it. Planning to see where TMCC can take me in the area I want to study, and then look into other local options from there.
Seems I like to update this thing on Fridays. Hm.
Movie rec: Avatar. Oh. My god.
Word of the day: interrobang. I love interrobangs. <3 Even designed a logo around one last year.
Wow. So, it’s been a while. >.>
Oz. Oz is good. Oz is intense and good. Just picked up all six seasons on DVD and marathoned it last week. XD
In other very awesome news, my brother is back in the country for two weeks. I can’t even describe how stunned I was when he called out of the blue on Monday and was all: “Hey, I’m at the airport. Pick me up? 8D”
Omg, so looking forward to seeing James Cameron’s Avatar. It looks just gorgeous.
And Final Fantasy XIII. HOMG. *makes grabby hands at* March 9, 2010, why are you not here yet?
Also also! Zack.
In KH: Birth by Sleep.
Zack is finally in a Kingdom Hearts game. There are no words to describe how excited I am about this. c:
Today’s movie rec is actually a TV series rec: Oz
Word of the day: parallelogram
Wow, The Tudors is such a good show. *_* I’m marathoning it as quickly as Netflix delivery will allow, lol.
Also: fountain pens! If you haven’t had the experience of writing with one...you’re missing out. It’s such an amazing experience, and the scratchy sound it makes on the paper is just so satisfying. Though I have found all but an extra-fine nib creates too heavy a line for my taste.
I may try a quill pen next. A real feather quill pen. >D
Yes, I am a bit of a geek. Shush.
...On the note of geekdom: *shakes fist at finicky trackpad*
Today’s movie rec: Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet
Word of the day: defenestrate
You know what’s cool? Launching a redesign.
Know what else is cool? Running a site through the W3C validator and getting a clean bill of health. That’s a pretty freaking good feeling. Especially on a first run.
Due to Twitter’s empty <ul> on each of these pages, my xhtml doesn’t validate. D:
But my css does!
In conclusion, everybody should watch the movie “Noises Off!” with Carol Burnett and Michael Caine.
That is all.
